God’s Love We Deliver is New York City’s leading provider of life-sustaining meals and nutrition counseling for people living with severe illnesses. God’s Love cooks and home-delivers nutritious meals free of charge to clients and full of love.
God’s Love was founded in 1985 at the height of the HIV/AIDS pandemic. When HIV was transforming life in the City, they learned quickly how to care for those who are isolated and alone, too sick to shop or cook for themselves. Now, in this new pandemic, they have drawn from this legacy to respond to COVID-19. During COVID-19 they’ve met a 30% increase in demand, welcomed more than 6,000 individuals onto the program, delivered 310,000 shelf-stable meals to clients, and been a comforting presence and resource for New Yorkers most at-risk for COVID-19.
The concert, which has become one of the premiere benefit concerts in the country, is known for hosting unique artist collaborations from many of the world’s most talented and revered artists. And this year’s show is hosted by Jeff Garlin, Michael Imperioli, Bernie Williams, and special guest Tina Fey!
