Like every amp in Magnatone’s Master and Traditional Collections, the Slash Signature SL-100 Head is an all-tube marvel crafted in the USA. From transformers to handles and hardwood cabinets, every major part of our amps is sourced domestically to guarantee rock-solid reliability and that legendary Magnatone tone.
These aren’t just marketing details—they’re the heart of the design that Slash, fervent tone alchemist, developed alongside tube-amp guru Obeid Khan. The SL-100 is, quite simply, the most powerful Magnatone ever built: monstrous headroom, searing gain, 100 watts of power, and pristine clarity capable of filling stadiums (and powering your next tour).
The Purple Python Edition is driven by four EL-34 power tubes for that signature grit-and-grind tone Slash loves onstage and in the studio. Its preamp section—built around four 12AX7/ECC83 tubes—offers two gain flavors, “LO” and “HI,” switchable via a slide switch or the included one-button footswitch.
Also available is our 4x12 Cabinet in Purple Python, which features four Celestion Vintage 30s, stacked in a cabinet crafted for Slash’s tone and power.

The classic, vintage tube amp of yesterday is back — made by hand, played by superstars.
Magnatone’s invention of the electrical vibrato amplifier circuit in 1957 was, and remains, the standard for true pitch shifting effects. Today’s line of Magnatone models incorporate that same vibrato circuitry which, as experts know, includes silicon carbide varistors, as well as vacuum tubes, to achieve the “True Dimensional Sound” for which Magnatone is famous.
