Italian singer-songwriter, guitarist and performer Irene Loche has built a career that stretches from her native Sardinia to the roots music community of Los Angeles. Blending Americana, blues, soul and roots rock, her music is grounded in expressive guitar playing, strong songwriting and a distinctly personal voice.
Over the course of her career, Irene has performed at blues and roots festivals throughout Italy and Europe and collaborated with musicians including Steve Postell, Leland Sklar, Steve Ferrone, Michael Jerome Moore, Tom Freund, Sherman Robertson, Ian Siegal and Eric McFadden. In 2015, she became the first Italian artist to join the Magnatone artist roster, developing a longstanding relationship with the brand and making the Twilighter Stereo part of her sound.
After relocating to Los Angeles in 2022, Irene began working between California and Sardinia, developing an ongoing creative partnership with songwriter and producer Steve Postell and Italian producer Massimo Satta. Those collaborations helped shape the next chapter of her songwriting and sound.
In 2025, she released the EP Keep Walking on IRMA Records, recorded between Los Angeles and Sardinia and featuring Leland Sklar, Steve Ferrone, Michael Jerome Moore and Fabrizio Foggia.
Her 2026 singles “Zhero,” “Green Wave” and “All I Need” introduce her upcoming second album, Big Rough Sea, scheduled for release October 2, 2026. Produced by Michael Jerome Moore and Massimo Satta, the album continues Irene’s connection between American roots music and her own Italian musical identity.
